This item is a flat sheet for a futon mattress. It does not contain any cotton filling. Please make sure you are ordering the correct item.

Fabric - 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. The fabric is unbleached and undyed, preserving the natural color and character of the cotton.

Because the fabric is unbleached, you may see small natural brown specks from the cotton plant. These are harmless and are a natural characteristic of the material.

Flat sheet design - Easy to put on and remove, making it especially convenient for frequent washing. The simple flat-sheet style also allows it to fit a range of futon sizes, including some customized futon mattresses.

The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and comfortable against the skin, even in humid weather. It becomes softer with repeated washing while remaining durable for everyday use.

Size Information

For our Futon Mattresses (Shiki futons), choose a flat sheet that is larger than the futon itself.

The sheet is designed to extend approximately 30–50 cm (11.8–19.7 in) beyond the Futon Mattress, allowing the extra fabric to be folded underneath.

This simple style is commonly used at traditional Japanese inns and is easy to put on, remove, and wash.
