Fabric - 100% organic cotton, thread count 233. This high-density cotton fabric helps prevent dust mites from passing through the gaps between the fibers.
Dust mite protection - The cover is made with high-density fabric and double stitching to help prevent dust mites from entering, without the use of insect repellents.
The Boken Quality Evaluation Organization has tested this fabric and reported that the number of mites passing through it was zero.
Double stitching makes it difficult for dust mites to pass through the needle holes. The zipper area is also covered with folded fabric to help prevent dust mites from entering.
This organic cotton fabric is light yet strong, and becomes softer with repeated washing.
For Natural Beige only, you may see small black or brown specks in the fabric. These are natural cotton seed husks and are harmless. We hope you enjoy the natural texture of the material.
